Sanin

Orochimaru is one of the three legendary Sanin. Named so by the second Hokage for their unbelievable strength at a young age, all three are formidable ninja in their own right. Orochimaru was always the strongest of the three but unfortunately his predilection toward forbidden Jutsu turned him evil.

After a failed attempt to bond infants with the second Hokage's abilities in hopes of taking them him self, Orochimaru was discovered and forced to flee the Leaf Village. Once he left the village Orochimaru briefly joined Akatsuki but left them as well to pursue his own selfish ambition of finding the perfect body.

Now he spends his time grooming Sasuke so that when the time comes he can take his body and obtain the Sharingun.

 

 

 

 

 

Tsunade is the second of the three Sanin. Strength wise she is undoubtedly the weakest, but her brute strength and medical expertise more than makes up for her lack of chakra manipulation.

For many years Tsunade traveled the country side in a self imposed exile because of the actions of Orochimaru, but when the time came she returned with Jiraiya to take over as the Hokage.

Though she looks very young this is only because of a special Jutsu she uses where she stores Chakra in the diamond on he forehead. Though she would never admit it she is in love with Jiraiya and cares more than you would think for Naruto.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jiraiya is the final Sanin and mentor of Naruto. Much like Naruto Jiraiya has spent most of his life tracking down Orochimaru in an attempt to bring him back to the light.

Jiraiya was also a good friend of Naruto's parents and unbeknownst to the boy also his god father. Jiraiya is aslo known as the "Toad Sage" by many and is one of the most powerful ninja alive.

Jiraiya is also in love with Tsunade but is unable to act upon his feeling for fear of her rejecting him, so instead he playfully points it out every now and again.
