Leaf Ninja

The leaf ninja are the main group of ninja featured in the series, these are the people that Naruto strives to protect and the people that strive to protect him as well.

The leaf village and it's people are the prominent force in what is known as the Fire Country, which is the most powerful of the five main county's.

The Leaf Village has breed some of the most powerful and feared ninja clans in all the lands. The most feared and respected of all the clans being the Uchiha clan, known for their hereditary ninja technique the Sharingun. This deadly technique allows the wielder to see there opponents chakra and instantly understand and counter any attack their opponent makes. Sadly there are now only two members of the clan left alive, Sasuke and Itachi Uchiha.

The Leaf ninja have also been lead by some of the most powerful ninja to ever live, including there current Hokage Lady Tsunade. With all of these credentials it is no wonder that not all of the other villages see them as an allies, the most notable of the Leaf's current adversaries are the Akatsuki.

The Leaf Ninja are also powerful enough that other villages will hire them for extra muscle, transportation, and from time to tome even mercenary work against other rival villages. The leaf ninja are without a doubt a force to be reckoned with, but should not be considered untouchable.

 

Sanin

The legendary Sanin of the Leaf Village were all ninja prodigies of the Leaf, and all obtained Hokage level skill with ninjutsu at a young age.

Jiraiya the "Toad Hermit" is commonly felt to be the strongest of the three with his diverse range of ninjutsu and ability to summon very powerful toads with little effort. Jiraiya is still friends with Tsunade and Naruto's master.

Orochimaru the "White Snake" was once as promising as the other Sanin, but his thirst for power and affinity for forbidden jutsu forced him to flee the village and join Akatsuki for a time. Now just a rogue ninja Orochimaru clings to the shadows bidding his time till the opportune moment arrives to strike.

Tsunade the "Legendary Sucker" is easily the most skilled ninja in the entire world at Medical Ninjutsu. Not the strongest at fighting and cursed with horrible luck when gambling Tsunade spent many years in a self imposed exile because of her lack of confidence in her ability. Now the Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village Tsunade has blossomed into a competent leader and protector of the land.

The Sanin were once the hope of the entire leaf village but due to events that no one could foresee, they have had little to do with the village until just recently.

Akatsuki

The Akatsuki are an elite group of outcast ninja that have assembled for one task .....peace by force.

The Akatsuki are not normal ninja, by most standards they would be considered the elite of the elite. Every member is Hokage level or above and none of them should be taken lightly.

Beyond their larger scheme of peace by force, the Akatsuki also deal in black market assassinations of high ranking ninja from around the world. There are very few who have survived an encounter with any member of this elite team. As though one were not deadly enough the Akatsuki always work in pairs making an encounter all the more frightening.

Their current goal is to capture all nine of the demon Jinchuuriki and combined them into a super weapon to hold all the nation hostage. One of the Jinchuuriki of coarse being Naruto. It should also be noted that one of the Akatsuki's most feared members is in fact Itachi Uchiha, the older brother and nemesis of Sasuke Uchiha.

Even with their small numbers the Akatsuki could rival any of the nations in pure power, and should never be taken lightly.
